God's royal love for us as shown through: The Haleakula Volcano sunrise. Set high above all else on the island of Maui, this volcano is sought out by millions at the crack of dawn. I'm a night owl, yet even I happily dragged myself out of bed at the crazy 3am hour to trek to the freezing top and await the first signs of the rising sun. There were no instructions to be quiet given to the masses who gathered. It was just like everyone knew this was a sacred experience that required our awe and respect.
